POST NO. 7 (re-do)

Our problem in school since the starting of the year is mainly about school work. We always have difficulties understanding the new stuffs that teachers teach in class. Then, when we are given work to do, we wouldn't know how to do. Then, when examinations are getting closer, we would feel very stressful then also, we wouldn't do well in our exams. so, our main problem is not being able to understand in class during lessons.

FILA chart:

F-facts - We cannot understand well
- We cannot cope with school work
- This will lead to stress
- Worries a lot before exams
- This will lead to bad results in examination
- We cannot do the work given correctly
Conclusion: So, the work given to us won' t be of any good use.

I-ideas - Take down notes during class, so that we can revise after school, at home
- Pay full atttention when teacher's teaching
- Ask teacher if don't understand
- Get a part timed tutor to help
- Get help from parents, siblings and relatives

L-learning issues - Why don't we understand what the teachers say?
- Why we feel that Secondary 1's work is so difficult?
- Who else can help us in our work instead of the teachers?
- How should we learn/study since we can't understand the usual ways of lessons
- Where can we get experienced tutor to guide us?
- What should we do if we still can't understand the work in secondary 4?
- Which is the best way to let us learn faster and be less stressful?

A-action plan - We would revise our work.
- We would plan a time-table, to organize our study plans
- We would pay full attention in class
- We would engage a part-timed tutor
- We should do our own practices without teachers reminding us. Eg; assesssment books
